Merry Christmas!

Apparently, Bella understood everything we told her about Christmas because she got us up BRIGHT and EARLY this morning! We stumbled down stairs and she pawed at the baby gate in front of the tree (it guards what is left of the ornaments and Ms. B's present). We then made orange rolls and let Bella open her presents. She got a good sized rawhide bone and her stocking was full of tennis balls.

We then took Bella to the tennis court to run out some of her extra energy (the giant marshmallow I gave her this morning was not the best idea). Finally, around 9 we convinced her that it was naptime. I have been cooking this afternoon and talking to loved ones on the phone. I'm sure we will have more to post as the day goes on!

Christmas Eve 2010

Last week we hung lights on our back balcony, well Jesse hung them while Bella and I "helped".

We spent our Christmas Eve laying low and cooking. We made homemade pizza and sugar cookies. Jesse has named our pizza "Amanda's I can cry if I want to pizza", I guess I got a little carried away with the red pepper flakes, but it was goooood!

Then last night we read The Night Before Dog-mas and watched a movie. Bella actually seemed to like the book, we know we are lame Weezer.

We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Not much news in Evansville....

Apparently, there is not a whole lot of news to report in Evansville because this ran in last Saturday's paper:

Bella Meets Santa

Last weekend while we were decorating for Christmas and enjoying the snow, we decided to take Bella to meet Santa. Of course, with Bella we could not have accomplished this without some sort of adventure. We got to Petsmart and to Santa and while we were waiting Bella slipped out of her collar. Fortunately, Jesse had her backed into a corner and Santa grabbed her quickly before she took off! Needless to say, Bella loved Santa and we got a great picture out of the whole adventure.

Christmas Time in Evansville

Jesse and Bella finally made it to Indiana and we are so glad to be together again. Last night we decorated for Christmas and woke up to SNOW this morning!!!!!!!

Bella LOVES the Christmas tree, she was laying under it last night. Unfortunately, she keeps trying to eat the lights, don't know what it is about that dog and electricity!

Jesse making peppermint bark.

We will put up pictures of the apartment once we get things put together a bit more.
