Decorating for Christmas

Yesterday we dug out the Christmas decorations. Miss Bella got really excited, she LOVES Christmas. She excitedly watched me (and helped me) unwrap the ornaments. Bella really likes the snow globe that I have had since I was a preschooler. She likes to watch it snow and nudges the bottom to tell me to make it play music (it plays "Oh Christmas Tree"). While it plays music, a ring around the base spins and she really likes that. She stands and watches it and nudges it with her nose.

Last night we put the tree up, while listening to Christmas music. Bella was right in the middle "helping" the whole time. Then we went to the craft store to get some glass bulbs to make some of our own ornaments. I will post pictures of what we come up with. After that, we had to stop at the pet store so Bella could get out of the house for a bit. She LOVES going to the pet store and always gets a lot of attention. She got to pick out a new toy (it has not one but TWO squeakers, oh boy!). Bella loves squeaky toys, she presses the squeaker with her nose repeatedly. Needless to say it has not been very quiet around here since she brought her new toy home!

Bella also like the Christmas lights. She stands on the back porch and looks up at them at night.

Thanksgiving

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving trip to Colorado. We ate alot of yummy food, saw Fort Collins, did a little shopping, watched football, and did the New Belgium Brewery tour.

Where does the time go?

Salutations and Greetings from the Hoosier state,
We've been pretty busy since the last posting, so we thought we would catch everybody up on what has happened since August.
Bella has been growing and learning to chew on her toys only (and not her mom's shoes)
I turned 28 this year!(two more till the big 30!)  Bella wanted to help me blow out the candles so she could eat some ice cream cake.
Couldn't get an ice cream cake made of aloha brownie but this was just as good.
Halloween came quick this year and we did the pumpkin thing a little easier this year
Bella loves her new toy that Amanda made from an idea one of her teachers found in a magazine.
Bella was Snow White for Halloween this year. She did not mind her costume at all.
She waited patiently at the door for trick-or-treaters. We only had a few.
